Cardiac Surgeon – Locum Tenens opportunities are available for highly skilled professionals seeking to advance their careers while providing exceptional care in cardiovascular surgery. Our team is composed of two full-time cardiac surgeons and one per diem surgeon, supported by two experienced physician assistants (PAs), with a third PA joining soon. Annually, our practice performs approximately 235 cardiac and thoracic surgical cases, not including an additional 140+ transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures. The surgical caseload encompasses a broad spectrum of cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, excluding transplant and certain highly complex interventions that require inpatient heart failure management.
In this role, the Cardiac Surgeon – Locum Tenens will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. The position offers a unique opportunity to participate in a well-established, high-volume cardiac surgery program. You will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes. The schedule is designed to start with one to two weekends per month, with the possibility of additional assignments based on both personal preference and organizational need.
