Most cases handled by the Cardiac Perfusionist (CCP) are related to CABG and heart valve surgeries, with very rare involvement in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) cases. The annual caseload typically ranges between 125 and 150 surgeries, allowing for focused patient care and professional development opportunities.
