Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN) - Summary
- Direct patient care for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology patients.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during cardiac and interventional radiology procedures, adhering to the latest healthcare protocols.
- Serve as the lead care coordinator, implementing and adjusting patient care plans in collaboration with medical and nursing teams.
- Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, recording and communicating updates to the healthcare team.
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision and attention to detail.
- Facilitate effective discharge planning, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions.
- Participate in required on-call rotations, including a minimum of 16 on-call shifts per 6-week period and mandatory coverage every third weekend.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- At least 12 years of cumulative clinical nursing experience.
- Mandatory prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting.
- Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
- Current BLS Provider certification from an approved provider such as the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
