Operating as a Registered Technologist (RT) with clinical competencies equivalent to a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), the Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist is adept at handling a variety of interventional and surgical procedures, including but not limited to diagnostic catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and device insertions such as Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP). The technologist is also skilled in supporting interventional radiology cases, including nephrostomy tube, PICC, permacath, pacemaker, and cerebral thrombectomy procedures.

Applicants for the Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (RT/RCIS) position must hold an active ARRT certification, be prioritized for New Jersey state licensure, and maintain a valid fluoroscopy permit/certification.
