Cardiac Anesthesiologist – Summary- Full-time, permanent Cardiac Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) position with a hospital-employed, clinician-led health system
- Focused exclusively on cardiac and transplant anesthesia cases
- Collaborative environment with a team of experienced, long-tenured cardiac anesthesiologists
- Opportunities for professional development and participation in advanced procedures, including a new heart transplant program
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for high-acuity cardiac and transplant cases, including heart, lung, liver, and kidney transplants, as well as structural heart procedures (TAVR, mitral)
- Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) approximately 70% of the time and manage cases independently 30% of the time
- Utilize the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and patient care coordination
- Participate in the launch and ongoing development of a new heart transplant program
- Contribute to a clinician-led culture that emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and high standards of patient care
- Maintain active participation in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
- Choose between standard call responsibilities and an optional non-call track for lifestyle flexibility
- Base salary starting at $525,000+, negotiable based on experience
- Sign-on bonus of $50,000 with a one-year commitment
- Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage included
- Comprehensive retirement benefits, including 403(b) with 50% matching on contributions up to 6%, plus an additional 1.5% employer contribution per hour worked
- Six weeks paid time off (288 hours) plus one week CME and a $4,000 stipend

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
