CAD Systems Analyst - Summary
- Serve as a technical expert in the analysis, design, and maintenance of CAD and RMS systems in a public safety or government setting.
- Support critical business operations by ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, and optimal performance of CAD solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate operational requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Document system changes, prepare technical reports, and maintain detailed records of all programs and modifications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze information processing requirements and systems to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
- Translate requirements defined during systems analysis into logical, economical, and practical system design alternatives.
- Participate in the maintenance and modification of current CAD and RMS systems to ensure continued alignment with organizational needs.
- Design program logic to comply with established program specifications and write programs of moderate to high complexity, primarily for customer use.
- Test data and programs for accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards.
- Prepare technical reports, system documentation, and forms related to assigned information systems, ensuring clarity and accuracy for both staff and clients.
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of all programs designed and/or modified.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with CAD systems, with preference for experience with Central Square CAD.
- At least 2 years of experience with Record Management Systems (RMS) supporting CAD operations.
- Direct, hands-on experience with public safety alert systems, such as Locution, Active911, Purius, or PulsePoint.
- Prior experience in a public safety or government environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
