The Business Operations Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily business operations, collaborating closely with senior leadership to drive organizational profit and sustainable growth across both federal and commercial verticals. This full-time, remote position with occasional travel requires a strategic thinker who can design and implement operational best practices, lead organizational transformation, and inspire high-performing teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining operational systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and championing a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
As Business Operations Director, you will be expected to partner with various departments, including IT, to implement technologies that align with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), a minimum of 10 years of management experience (with a strong emphasis in government contracting, healthcare, or related fields), and a proven track record overseeing a P&L of $50M+ during periods of rapid growth and transformation. Deep financial acumen, strong leadership, and the ability to drive organizational performance through effective people management are essential. You should be adept at leveraging data and insights, facilitating team engagement, and leading business model transformation.
