Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver production support for BI systems, ensuring data accuracy, workflow continuity, and overall system stability.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve critical ETL and workflow issues using advanced monitoring tools and log interpretation.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures and proactively improve system reliability.
- Conduct in-depth data investigations to clarify anomalies, validate fixes, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to address complex technical challenges and recommend best practices for process enhancement.
- Support routine and ad-hoc change deployments, offering proactive technical assistance to source teams.
- Manage ticket queues effectively, escalating issues when necessary and communicating resolutions with clarity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including procedures and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide critical production support as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Informatica or an equivalent ETL tool.
- Familiarity with ActiveBatch or comparable enterprise scheduling tools.
- Hands-on experience supporting ETL data movement in a production operations capacity, specifically troubleshooting and resolving failures.
- Proficiency in interpreting SQL syntax across multiple database platforms, such as SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, and DB2.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Strong Linux/Unix skills, including navigating directories, understanding file permissions and environment variables, reading shell scripts, and editing with vi.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
