Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect HVAC contractors through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of the SmartAC platform, demonstrating how it enhances customer acquisition, drives membership conversions, and supports long-term retention for contractors.
- Develop and close new contractor partnerships, guiding partners through onboarding, implementation, and the initial setup process to ensure early success with SmartAC's solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth platform adoption, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support to contractor partners.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with signed contractors and their teams, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner throughout their growth journey.
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic consultations, leveraging data and insights to help contractors optimize their growth metrics and maximize value from the platform.
- Organize contractor engagement initiatives, such as customer appreciation events, educational workshops, and targeted campaigns, to maintain high visibility and foster loyalty.
- Manage assigned territory responsibilities, including travel for prospecting, account visits, and participation in relevant industry events.
- Collect and relay feedback from the field to inform SmartAC product development and marketing strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with contractor needs.
- Report on territory performance, contractor growth metrics, and market trends to leadership, advocating for the needs and insights of contractor partners.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably within HVAC, home services, or SaaS industries.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools for managing opportunities, documenting client interactions, maintaining pipeline visibility, and supporting sales execution.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, engage, and close new business with a strong hunter mentality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
- Experience in building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory for prospecting, account visits, and industry event participation.
