Business Development Manager - Summary
- Drive new revenue growth for engineered systems in the industrial, energy, and infrastructure markets.
- Develop and secure business opportunities for compression and pump skid solutions.
- Expand market presence by creating new opportunities and engaging with key stakeholders early in project lifecycles.
- Influence technical specifications and deliver engineered solutions aligned with customer and project requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across emerging and adjacent markets.
- Build and nurture relationships with engineering firms, EPC contractors, and industrial end users.
- Engage with clients early in the project lifecycle to influence equipment specifications and project scope.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations that address customer needs and project requirements.
- Manage long-cycle, project-based sales from lead generation through contract execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineered solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote services and solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in business development, technical sales, or engineered systems sales within the industrial, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing new business and managing long-cycle, project-based sales is required.
- Experience working with engineering firms, EPC contractors, or industrial end users is preferred.
- Strong ability to influence technical specifications and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
