The Business Data Analyst is responsible for acting as the main liaison between business partners and IT, ensuring that business requirements are clearly documented and met throughout project lifecycles. Business Data Analyst - Summary
- Serve as the primary business liaison between user groups and IT, focusing on Merchandise system support and enhancements.
- Enable business partners by translating requirements into actionable documentation and facilitating system implementation processes.
- Provide ongoing support for merchandising, ecommerce, and omnichannel operations, ensuring system integrity and user satisfaction.
- Participate in the resolution of daily work tickets for the Master Data team to maintain smooth operational workflows.
- Engage in user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshooting for major systems including SAP and PIM.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for business partners concerning Merchandise systems and related processes.
- Document business requirements for system enhancements and new projects, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Administer changes to system parameters and formats, collaborating closely with IT and other stakeholders.
- Review and resolve daily work tickets, escalating complex issues as necessary to appropriate teams.
- Support the Merchandising, MP&I, and Ecommerce teams in effective system utilization and problem resolution.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and provide feedback to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
- Monitor and improve existing business processes through analysis and best practice recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of one to two years of direct experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related best practices.
- Working knowledge of Merchandising, Ecommerce, Omnichannel, and Supply Chain systems and processes.
- Ability to effectively manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail and proficiency in making analytical connections across multiple business topics.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact with a range of stakeholders.
