Business Analyst (BA) - Summary- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Participate throughout the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and IT solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for IT projects.
- Develop and refine mockups and wireframes that conform to user experience (UX) best practices.
- Manage the requirements specification process, ensuring traceability and fulfillment throughout the project life cycle.
- Support verification and validation of requirements post-implementation, including enhancements and change requests.

- Contribute to risk assessment, quality assurance, and issue resolution activities related to business analysis.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT projects.
- 8+ years of experience designing mockups and/or wireframes aligned with UX best practices.
- Demonstrated professional experience working for or closely with state or local education agencies, such as TEA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of success in business analysis roles within IT or public sector settings.
