Business Analyst - Summary- Support and enhance front-line business operations within the vital records sector, focusing on the efficient management of electronic vital event systems.
- Analyze complex data, IT applications, and business processes to develop actionable and effective solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring that business requirements align with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
- Participate in the interpretation and application of relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Facilitate clear communication and thorough documentation for both project and operational needs.
- Provide support for business operations across multiple units within the vital statistics service.
- Assist in the ongoing management and enhancement of electronic systems designed for the tracking and administration of vital records.
- Conduct detailed analyses of data and IT applications to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to interpret and implement laws and policies.
- Develop, document, and communicate business requirements and project objectives.

- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in business analysis, project management, and familiarity with vital statistics laws.
- Demonstrated expertise in using the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating and interpreting complex IT systems and business processes.
- Proven ability to develop creative, practical solutions for multifaceted problems.
