Business Analyst - Summary
- Serve as a lead in requirements gathering and documentation for vendor-led technology projects and internal application initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Support the adoption of new releases by contributing to user training and communication strategies.
- Participate in issue resolution and provide detailed documentation for defect tracking and closure.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate requirements activities for technology projects, ensuring all business and technical needs are captured and documented.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and ongoing requirement clarifications with diverse teams, including business users, vendors, and IT professionals.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with vendor project managers and solution architects to confirm project scope, identify dependencies, and address change requests.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), including planning, script development, execution, and feedback management.
- Support production releases by triaging reported issues, reproducing bugs, and documenting findings for resolution by development teams.
- Assist in the development and execution of communication and training plans to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst.
- Demonstrated experience leading requirements activities for vendor-led technology projects.
- Proven ability to facilitate discovery sessions and workshops with cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in documenting business requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience collaborating with vendor project managers and solution architects to validate project scope and manage changes.
- Skilled in coordinating UAT planning, creating test scripts, and managing defect tracking through to closure.
- Capable of gathering and refining requirements for both major and minor internal application enhancements.
