Business Analyst - Summary
- Support the transition of legacy systems to modern web-based platforms using .NET and SQL technologies

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and execute detailed requirements and analysis activities for legacy system modernization projects
- Analyze existing legacy system functionality, databases, and workflows to thoroughly document current-state processes
- Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for web-based application development
- Perform gap analyses to identify disparities between existing legacy systems and desired web-based solutions, including technical and compliance gaps
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and database teams to ensure requirements are effectively translated into .NET and SQL-based systems
- Facilitate communication and consensus-building among stakeholders to align project objectives and requirements
- Coordinate project tasks and track progress to ensure timely and successful completion of modernization initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in legacy system analysis and modernization strategies
- Extensive experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), particularly for web-based application development
- Advanced skills in requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation (business, functional, and technical)
- Proficiency in translating legacy application behaviors into requirements for modern web-based systems
- Strong stakeholder facilitation, communication, consensus-building, project coordination, and task tracking abilities
