IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves supporting major system modernization projects within the Medicaid sector, focusing on project oversight and enhancing existing Medicaid applications. The company operates within the healthcare industry, committed to improving health and social services through innovative IT solutions.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs in a complex Medicaid environment.
- Formulate systems to align with overall business strategies and goals.
- Support and oversee documentation and delivery of application enhancements for Medicaid IT systems.
- Assist as an IT stakeholder in various Medicaid enterprise system initiatives, collaborating with multiple vendors.
- Create processes and documentation to ensure consistent understanding and integration of solutions.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
- Hands-on experience with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to solve business problems.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably SAFe.
- Knowledge of Texas HHSC processes and Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems.
- Ability to support projects in a SAFe environment on a major system modernization effort.
