Business Analyst - Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, document, and manage business requirements, ensuring that project objectives are met efficiently and accurately. You will utilize industry-standard tools such as Confluence for documentation and Jira for workflow management, contributing to the overall success of the organization through consistent and clear communication. Working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, you will help align expectations and drive projects to successful completion.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect, clarify, and document requirements in the form of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and user stories.
- Work closely with Solutions Architects and Technical Analysts to ensure a seamless transition from business requirements to technical design.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to validate requirements and align project goals, maintaining up-to-date and organized documentation within Confluence.
- Manage project workflows and track progress using Jira, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the intake and estimation process for new project requests, with a focus on eCommerce tax integration, particularly between platforms such as Salesforce Commerce and Vertex.
- Contribute to the refinement and standardization of documentation processes and templates to ensure consistency across projects.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within an enterprise or multi-system environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in documenting detailed requirements, workflows, and business processes utilizing tools such as Confluence and Jira.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, ask clarifying questions, and drive consensus.
- Basic understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flow concepts to effectively support technical teams.
- Experience working on projects in eCommerce, finance, or ERP systems is advantageous.
