Building Automation Technician - Summary- Primary focus on troubleshooting, testing, and repairing building automation systems in commercial facilities
- Provides technical support and training to building owners and users
- Ensures optimal operation and integration of HVAC, fire alarm, and other building subsystems
- Acts as a liaison between clients and the company to ensure satisfaction and system efficiency
- Troubleshoot, analyze, test, adjust, and repair building automation and control systems
- Integrate and maintain low voltage building subsystems using protocols such as LON and BacNet
- Support owner and user training for system operation and troubleshooting
- Document inspection and service findings, communicating them clearly to customers and coworkers
- Mentor junior integration specialists as needed
- Adapt to fast-paced and changing environments, managing multiple tasks and priorities

- Minimum of seven years' experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering systems

- Experience with automatic temperature controls, fire alarms, and building subsystems

- Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to obtain 10-hour OSHA certification (30-hour OSHA preferred)
