Building Automation Specialist (BAS) - Summary

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least one year of hands-on experience with building automation control systems (e.g., Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, Space Logic, I/A, Andover Continuum, Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4).
- Minimum of two years’ experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering systems.
- Deep understanding of the construction or HVAC industry.
- Basic networking skills and knowledge of control theory and automatic temperature controls.
- Experience integrating low voltage building subsystems using industry-standard protocols such as LON and BacNet.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and internal teams.
