Breast Radiologist, MQSA – Locum Tenens Position OverviewOptigy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Breast Radiologist, MQSA for a locum tenens, full-time onsite assignment in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This important role is focused on providing comprehensive breast imaging services in a collaborative women's health environment. As a Breast Radiologist, MQSA, you will play a critical part in supporting the health center’s mission by delivering high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography, as well as performing specialized breast procedures. This position is ideal for radiology professionals who are passionate about women’s health and are looking for a consistent onsite opportunity in a technologically advanced setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography studies in accordance with MQSA standards.
- Perform a range of breast procedures, including biopsies and breast ultrasounds, in an onsite setting.
- Utilize advanced imaging technology, including Intelerad, Powerscribe 4.0, and the RPCE Midwest Tech Stack, to ensure accurate diagnostics and patient care.
- Maintain high productivity, with an expected case load of approximately 75 cases per day, adjusting as needed based on the mix of cases.
- Participate in optional diagnostic call coverage if mutually agreed upon with the team.
- Support the health center’s commitment to women’s health by collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Board Certification in Radiology required.
- Current MQSA certification is mandatory for this role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of breast imaging and breast procedures, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and biopsies.
- Ability to work onsite in Middleburg Heights, Ohio for the duration of the locum tenens assignment; no remote options are available.
- Active Ohio medical license preferred or licensure in progress at the time of application.
- Credentialing process is approximately 90 days.
