Brand Ambassador Job OverviewMike Jones - State Farm Agency is seeking a highly motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as a Brand Ambassador. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop customer relationships and promote State Farm insurance products such as auto, home, renters, and life insurance. Based in Washington, D.C., this full-time role is ideal for professionals who enjoy engaging with their community and are interested in building a career within the insurance industry. The Mike Jones Agency will provide comprehensive training to ensure your success as a Brand Ambassador, even if you do not have prior insurance experience.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm insurance products.
- Create and manage weekly and monthly schedules for street team activities and special events throughout Washington, D.C.
- Set up promotional materials, including tents and agency equipment, at various event locations to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Ensure the agency van is well maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary marketing materials and agency uniforms.
- Drive the company van responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and maintaining a clean driving record for the past three years with no accidents.
- Monitor and report on lead generation goals, working to achieve daily and monthly targets.
- Supervise and coordinate team members during street marketing activities, ensuring efficient and professional representation of the agency.
- Manage inventory of marketing materials and report any shortages or requirements to the agency leadership.
- Participate in ongoing training, including in-office and online classes, to prepare for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance licensing exams.
- Promote a positive brand image by demonstrating professionalism and integrity at all times while representing the agency in Washington, D.C.
- Outgoing and career-oriented professional with a passion for community engagement and customer service.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past three years with no accidents.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to create and manage event schedules.
- Ability to set up and transport marketing materials and equipment to various locations within Washington, D.C.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
- Willingness to participate in training and pursue relevant insurance licenses (P&C and Life & Health).
- Ability to meet lead generation and performance goals consistently.
- No prior insurance experience required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
