Body Radiologist, Diagnostic Radiology (MD/DO, ABR) - Summary
- Interpret complex body imaging studies, including X-rays, CT, MRI, and GI fluoroscopic procedures.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in educational initiatives, mentoring radiology residents and medical students.
- Contribute to quality assurance and improvement programs within the radiology department.
- Provide timely, accurate diagnostic imaging reports to support patient management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a diverse array of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general X-rays, gastrointestinal (GI) fluoroscopic studies, abdominal and pelvic CT/CTA scans, and abdominal and pelvic MRI/MRA scans.
- Interpret specialized imaging studies, such as prostate MRI, with precision and accuracy.
- Effectively communicate imaging findings to referring physicians, ensuring seamless integration into patient care plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, such as tumor boards, to provide expert radiologic input on complex cases.
- Engage in teaching and mentorship, guiding radiology residents and medical students in diagnostic body imaging fundamentals and best practices.
- Take part in departmental quality assurance and improvement activities, contributing to the ongoing advancement of patient care standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).
- Subspecialty training and/or experience in Abdominal and Oncologic Radiology considered an advantage.
- Current, or eligibility to obtain and maintain, a valid Florida medical license.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented clinical environment.
