Blender Operator - SummaryThe Blender Operator supports the manufacturing team by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients such as flour, salt, and other materials. This role involves the consistent handling of heavy materials and the operation of blending equipment to produce finished products. The Blender Operator is responsible for ensuring all batches are prepared accurately, labeled properly, and stacked onto pallets for shipment or further processing. This dynamic position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lift and move raw material bags weighing up to 50lbs safely and efficiently.
- Open and prepare ingredient bags (flour, salt, etc.) for processing.
- Accurately measure and weigh ingredients according to batch specifications.
- Load materials into the chute for transfer into the blender.
- Operate blending machinery and monitor the mixing process for consistency and quality.
- Ensure finished products are weighed (up to 30lbs per bag) and packaged accurately.
- Label filled product bags and organize them on pallets, stacking up to 120 bags per pallet.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety and sanitation protocols.
- Perform quality checks and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Support continuous processing and maintain productivity throughout each shift.
