BIM Designer - Summary
As a BIM Designer, your primary mission is to translate traditional design concepts into advanced 3D models, incorporating comprehensive project elements such as scheduling and cost estimation. Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate 2D design documents and technical specifications into sophisticated 3D BIM models, integrating 4D (time and sequencing) and 5D (cost and budget) elements to support comprehensive project planning.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of BIM Execution Plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and structural engineering standards.
- Manage and oversee BIM processes, including 3D modeling, project scheduling, and whole building life cycle assessment (WBLCA).
- Utilize BIM tools to extract material and construction quantities, enabling accurate internal cost estimation and providing real-time budget insights to inform design decisions.
- Conduct clash detection and model coordination activities to proactively resolve interdisciplinary design conflicts and optimize constructability.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that BIM implementation supports seamless project integration and successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in civil engineering or a related discipline, with a proven track record in BIM design and coordination.
- Proficiency in industry-standard BIM software, including Revit, as well as experience with clash detection tools and structural modeling processes.
- Demonstrated experience with 4D construction scheduling and 5D cost estimation is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts, building systems, and BIM project coordination workflows.
