We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Bilingual Insurance Sales Representative (Portuguese/English) to join our award-winning State Farm agency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop leads through various channels and schedule appointments to discuss insurance needs with prospective and existing clients.
- Identify individual customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health policies.
- Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships, ensuring regular follow-up and exceptional service throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing matters.
- Continually educate clients on available products and policy features to help them make informed decisions about their insurance coverage.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English is required for this Insurance Sales Representative (Portuguese/English) role.
- Experience in insurance sales, property & casualty, or life & health insurance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Sales experience in any capacity (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is preferred and will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals or quotas is highly valued.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential for success in this full-time position.
- Strong self-motivation, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities are required.
- Ability to build rapport and effectively relate to a wide range of customers, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses as required by state regulations.
