We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bicycle Assembly Technician to join our team on a full-time W2 basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our retail partner locations are stocked with safely and expertly assembled bicycles and various other products. As a Bicycle Assembly Technician, you will receive training to enhance your assembly skills, focusing primarily on bicycles while also working on a range of retail products. Your commitment to safety, accuracy, and timeliness will directly contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers and support optimal sales performance for our retail clients.
This position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and have prior experience with bicycle assembly. You will need to demonstrate an ability to work independently while adhering to company standards for quality and safety. The role requires daily travel to different retail locations, so possessing reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is essential. Additionally, you will use a smartphone to document completed work and handle invoicing through our company systems.

Bicycle Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble bicycles and other retail products according to manufacturer and company guidelines
- Ensure all products are built accurately, safely, and within designated timelines
- Prepare and organize each retail location to maximize product visibility and accessibility
- Maintain all required assembly tools and ensure they are in good working order
- Document completed work using a smartphone and company invoicing system
- Communicate with management and retail staff as necessary to coordinate assembly schedules
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Salary & Benefits
- Performance-based compensation structure with a flat commission rate per item assembled
- Eligibility for company health benefits after 6 months of employment
- PTO available after 4 months, provided you average at least 30 hours per week
- W2 employment status with the stability of company support
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more on a regular basis
- Successful completion of a background check and MVR check
- Possession of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation to travel to various client locations
- Must check in before 8am as required by client schedules
- Smartphone with working camera for documentation and invoicing
- Ownership of necessary bicycle assembly tools, including: 3/8 drive Allen (hex) sockets/keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, diagonal cutting pliers, screwdrivers, bike stand, air compressor, floor pump, and tire pressure gauge (or equivalents)
