Bicycle Assembly Technician - Summary- Join our team as a Bicycle Assembly Technician specializing in retail product and bicycle assembly.
- Utilize your assembly skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.

- Assemble bicycles and a variety of retail products according to company and client specifications.
- Prepare retail locations for optimal sales performance by ensuring products are assembled accurately and safely.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and safety guidelines provided during training.
- Perform daily check-ins before 8am to coordinate assignments and ensure readiness.
- Use a smartphone to accurately document and invoice completed assemblies with photos.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the assembly area at each retail location.
- Communicate effectively with team members and retail staff to meet quality and efficiency goals.
- Performance-based commission: Earn a flat rate per item assembled (51% per item).
- Eligible for company health benefits after 6 months (minimum average of 30 hours/week).
- Paid Time Off (PTO) eligibility after 4 months (minimum average of 30 hours/week).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Must pass background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required.
- Reliable transportation to reach various retail client locations.
- Daily check-in required before 8am.
- Smartphone with working camera for invoicing and documentation.
- Own set of bicycle assembly tools including: 3/8 Drive Allen (hex) sockets/keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, diagonal cutting pliers, screwdrivers, bike stand, air compressor, floor pump, and tire pressure gauge.
- Previous experience in bicycle assembly or retail product assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a retail environment.
- Effective communicator with the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
- Work hours may vary based on client needs, with potential shifts between 6am and 7pm, Monday through Friday.
- Work involves travel to different retail client locations with reliable transportation as a must.
- This position is offered as a W2 employee role, not as an independent contractor.
