Bicycle Assembly Technician - Summary
- Assembles bicycles and a variety of related products to manufacturer specifications.
- Ensures all products are assembled accurately, safely, and efficiently to support optimal retail performance.
- Receives on-the-job training and works as a vital team member at multiple retail client locations.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble and inspect new bicycles and other retail products according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Prepare retail locations for optimal sales by ensuring all assemblies are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Utilize provided training and existing knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues efficiently.
- Document completed work using a smartphone for invoicing and reporting purposes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within each client location.
- Communicate effectively with store managers and team members to coordinate assembly needs and schedules.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.
Salary & Benefits
- Performance-based commission structure: Receive a flat commission rate of 51% per item assembled.
- W2 employee status with opportunities for company health benefits after 6 months of employment (average 30+ hours/week required).
- Paid time off eligibility after 4 months of employment, based on average weekly hours.
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs, with possible shifts from early morning to evening (6am–7pm, Monday through Friday).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to lift items weighing 25 lbs or more.
- Successful completion of background and motor vehicle record (MVR) checks.
- Valid driver's license and up-to-date auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation to reach various client locations and ability to check in before 8am as needed.
- Smartphone with functional camera for real-time invoicing and documentation.
- Ownership of essential bicycle assembly tools, including: 3/8 drive Allen (hex) sockets/keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, diagonal cutting pliers, screwdrivers, bike stand, air compressor, floor pump, and tire pressure gauge (or equivalent tools).
