Bicycle Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a wide range of bicycles and related products using professional tools.
- Follow specific assembly instructions and safety guidelines for each product.
- Utilize personal tool kit, including Allen/hex sockets, torque wrench, pedal wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, bike stand, air compressor, floor pump, and tire pressure gauge.
- Check in daily before the start of the workday and maintain reliable communication with team leads.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in assembly, double-checking all work for safety.
- Prepare each retail location for daily operations by assembling products to meet sales and display requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Use a smartphone with a working camera for invoicing and documentation purposes.
Salary & Benefits
- Performance-based W2 employee position.
- Competitive flat commission rate per item assembled (51%).
- Eligibility for company health benefits after 6 months of employment (subject to maintaining the required weekly hours).
- PTO (Paid Time Off) eligibility after 4 months, contingent on average weekly hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly.
- Successful completion of background and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) checks.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required.
- Reliable transportation to and from various work sites.
- Ability to check in before 8am and maintain a flexible work schedule as needed.
- Smartphone with a functional camera for documentation and invoicing.
- Personal bicycle assembly tool kit as specified in the requirements.
