Benefits Specialist - Summary- Manages day-to-day operations of employee benefits and wellness programs
- Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains data integrity across HRIS systems
- Acts as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issues
- Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors for seamless program administration
- Drives process improvements and supports the organization's mission to promote employee well-being
- Oversee all aspects of benefits administration, including onboarding, employee transfers, terminations, and benefits invoicing/billing
- Deliver prompt, concierge-level support to employee inquiries about benefits and wellness programs
- Utilize HRIS systems, such as Workday, and platforms like SharePoint to maintain accurate benefits program data
- Assist with regulatory compliance tasks, including 5500 filings, 1095 reporting, and non-discrimination testing
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective benefits administration
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
- Maintain data accuracy through advanced Excel skills, including creating pivots and utilizing VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic, high-demand environment

- Minimum of three years of professional experience in U.S. employee benefits and wellness program administration
- Demonstrated expertise in health, wellness, and work-life programs
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (Pivots, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs)
- Experience working with HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of data accuracy
