Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW/LMHC) - Summary
- Provides behavioral health assessment, intervention, and advocacy for clients in community health programs
- Supports individuals and families dealing with mental illness, addiction, and abuse
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop comprehensive Plans of Treatment, including discharge planning, based on psychosocial assessment and accepted social work interventions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of referral resources throughout the service area to support clients’ needs
- Ensure compliance with all third-party payer requirements and organizational policies
- Accurately document clinical progress notes and maintain timely records in accordance with facility policies
- Foster positive relationships with patients, families, primary care providers, referral sources, and service agencies
- Adhere to all departmental and facility protocols, maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Current and valid LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) or LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) license as required by state law
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience in a behavioral health or clinical social work setting
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with a high degree of competency and professionalism
