Duties & Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and inspire bar staff to maintain high performance and foster a positive work environment.
- Guest Experience: Ensure each guest receives attentive, professional, and personalized service that surpasses expectations.
- Menu Development: Curate and manage an inventive, seasonal cocktail menu, keeping abreast of current beverage trends and aligning selections with the restaurant’s unique brand and concept.
- Inventory Management: Oversee bar inventory, manage ordering and supply levels, and implement effective cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Compliance & Safety: Guarantee compliance with all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
- Financial Oversight: Track and optimize bar budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive profitability through prudent cost management, pricing strategies, and sales maximization.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and successful execution of private events and large group bookings by ensuring seamless beverage service.
- Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the culinary team, restaurant management, and other departments to deliver a cohesive and memorable dining experience.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest concerns, staff issues, or operational challenges swiftly and professionally to maintain high standards of service.

- Demonstrated experience as a Bar Manager or in a comparable leadership role within a high-end restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverage trends
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team
- Exceptional customer service abilities focused on guest satisfaction and relationship building
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in bar inventory management and cost control practices
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
- Minimum age of 21 years, with a valid alcohol service permit where applicable
- Certification in Mixology or other relevant hospitality courses is preferred
- Background in upscale or fine-dining restaurant settings
- Proven ability to develop and lead effective staff training programs
- A passion for hospitality, creativity in beverage program development, and a commitment to fostering a positive guest experience
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
