AWS Solutions Architect - Summary
- Design, build, and maintain robust AWS cloud infrastructure to support large-scale applications and a substantial user community.
- Collaborate with internal teams and AWS partners to ensure best practices in cloud architecture, security, and efficiency.
- Champion operational excellence and drive adoption of scalable, fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
- Support the development and optimization of internal portals for staff and students, focusing on reliability and performance.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of AWS infrastructure for high-availability, scalability, and security.
- Oversee day-to-day cloud operations, ensuring optimal performance of services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and networking resources.
- Partner with development teams to integrate AWS solutions that enhance internal systems and user-facing applications.
- Implement and enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and secure network design.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud cost optimization, resource management, and system housekeeping.
- Participate in critical incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution to maintain continuous service availability.
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and operational procedures to support knowledge transfer and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Cloud Ops Engineer.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AWS architecture, operations, and support.
- Proven hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, Networking, Identity Center, and RDS.
- In-depth understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network configuration.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant AWS environments.
