As an AWS Connect Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of AWS Connect solutions. AWS Connect Developer - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS Connect contact flows, including IVR menus, dynamic call routing, and backend integrations to support complex business requirements.
- Configure AWS Connect instances, queues, phone numbers, and custom contact attributes tailored to evolving organizational needs.
- Develop and manage AWS Lambda functions (using JavaScript or C#) to enable dynamic call handling, backend operations, and seamless API-based integrations.
- Create serverless solutions with AWS Lambda for data processing, database management, and business logic execution within contact center workflows.
- Integrate AWS Connect with other AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, and Lex to enhance system performance and feature sets.
- Set up and maintain AWS API Gateway for secure exposure of Lambda functions via RESTful APIs, including configuration for authentication protocols and rate limiting.
- Monitor system performance through AWS CloudWatch, proactively identifying areas for optimization and scalability improvements.
- Document technical designs, code, deployment processes, and best practices to ensure standardized, secure, and repeatable implementations.
- Collaborate regularly with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deploy customized solutions.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting support and continuous improvement for AWS Connect infrastructure and custom Contact Control Panels (CCPs).
- Stay current with evolving AWS Connect technologies, best practices, and industry standards to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in AWS Connect design, development, and deployment.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or React.
- Background in designing and integrating IVR systems, telephony, and advanced contact routing solutions.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills within cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
