AWS Cloud Engineer - Summary- Lead the development, configuration, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure for essential internal systems and portals in the education sector.
- Serve as a key technical resource, providing expertise in AWS services and collaborating across teams to optimize cloud environments.
- Drive continuous improvement, security, and cost efficiency in all cloud-related initiatives.

- Act as the technical leader for AWS cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Build, configure, and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, Identity Center, and networking components.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clean up and optimize existing cloud infrastructure, supporting migration from legacy systems.
- Perform in-depth cloud consumption analysis and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize AWS resources.
- Lead security remediation efforts, ensuring compliance and best practices are maintained in AWS environments.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support for troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Engage in continuous learning by supporting multi-cloud environments, particularly with Azure, in collaboration with certified colleagues.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Cloud Operations Engineer (Associate level or above).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Identity Center, EC2, S3, and networking.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure build-out, resource optimization, and security hardening.
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities, with a track record of serving as a Tier 3 escalation point.
- Willingness to expand knowledge into Azure and support multi-cloud environments as needed.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to cloud security, cost management, and infrastructure optimization.
