Automotive Technician (ASE Certified) - Summary
As an Automotive Technician (ASE Certified), you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of automotive systems. Your expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality service will help drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The role emphasizes collaboration with other technicians and direct interaction with customers to provide clear, honest communication about vehicle maintenance and repairs. Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled automotive professionals to achieve daily operational goals.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status, recommendations, and necessary repairs for their vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and technology to ensure precise and efficient repairs.
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards within the service area and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; varying levels of experience are welcomed (A, B, and C/Tire Tech levels).
- ASE certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification within a designated timeframe.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to automotive systems.
- Ability to efficiently navigate computer systems for diagnostics and record keeping.
- Physical ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds and perform repairs on vehicles lifted above head height.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and maintaining a brisk pace in a high-volume shop environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service.
