Automotive Technician - Summary
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of automotive systems and vehicles

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and software
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and other automotive components
- Document work performed, parts used, and diagnostic results accurately in service records
- Engage with customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and answer questions in a transparent, professional manner
- Work efficiently to meet service deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following organizational and OSHA safety guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions to stay current with automotive technology and best practices
- Assist team members and contribute to a cooperative, respectful workplace

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, with demonstrated proficiency in automotive repair and diagnostics
- Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Physical capability to lift and/or move over 50 pounds, work with vehicles on lifts, and operate in tight spaces as required by repair tasks
- Dexterity and stamina to walk or stand for extended periods during the workday
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Strong computer skills for navigation of digital repair orders and diagnostic systems
- Commitment to maintaining a brisk pace in a high-volume environment while upholding quality standards
