Automotive Technician - SummaryAs an Automotive Technician at Stress-Free Auto Care, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles. Duties & Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair a broad range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical components, and more.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure quality workmanship and efficient workflow.
- Interact with customers to provide clear, transparent explanations of repairs and services performed.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Uphold company standards for professionalism, honesty, and customer care in every interaction.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the shop by sharing knowledge and participating in ongoing training.
- Efficiently navigate computerized systems for work orders and vehicle diagnostics.

- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar automotive repair role is highly preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities across various automotive systems.
- Ability to lift and/or move over 50 pounds occasionally as required by the job.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Comfortable working on vehicles lifted above head level and in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Manual dexterity and stamina to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
- Experience with computer-based work order and diagnostic systems.
