Audit Manager CPATriStarr's client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Audit Manager CPA to join their internal audit team on a full-time basis in Lititz, PA. As an Audit Manager CPA, you will play a vital role in upholding the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional audit and assurance services, as well as providing financial reporting, consulting, and other specialized services to a diverse client base. This position presents a unique opportunity for a strategic leader who is adept at navigating the complexities of financial compliance and fostering strong professional relationships.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee audit engagements with a focus on maintaining compliance with AICPA rules, regulations, and the code of professional conduct.
- Supervise audit teams and guide the execution of audit plans, ensuring that all work aligns with firm standards and client expectations.
- Provide direct coaching and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development and skill enhancement within the team.
- Deliver constructive feedback to senior managers and principals regarding staff performance, aiding in the continuous improvement of the audit function.
- Build and nurture client relationships, identifying opportunities to offer additional services that add value to both clients and the firm.
- Develop new business contacts and contribute to the growth of the firm’s audit practice.
- Assist with internal administrative functions and any other assignments as directed by senior management.
- Give special consideration to audits in specialized areas, such as governmental and employee benefit plan auditing, when relevant expertise exists.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related business discipline.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- A minimum of 4-6 years of public accounting experience with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in staff management, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
