Audiologist - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients of all ages, including hearing tests, auditory brainstem response (ABR), and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) screenings.
- Conduct vestibular assessments to evaluate balance disorders.
- Provide patient counseling and develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic results.
- Fit and program hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, ensuring patient comfort and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with ENT physicians and interdisciplinary medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient encounters in compliance with medical and legal standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of best practices in audiology.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing clinical audiology practice.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license in Audiology (must be obtained prior to start date).
- Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical or hospital-based audiology setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing a range of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in patient documentation and care coordination.
