Audio Visual Support Engineer (AV Support Engineer) - Summary
- Provide advanced support for enterprise audio-visual systems in corporate and executive environments.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade AV technologies to ensure reliable performance during meetings and events.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement new AV solutions and maintain existing systems.
- Manage AV asset inventories, system documentation, and lifecycle planning processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for audio-visual incidents, service requests, and technical challenges in meeting spaces.
- Troubleshoot and maintain complex AV systems, conferencing technologies, and integrated room solutions.
- Install, configure, and support AV hardware, software, and peripheral devices for conference rooms and event spaces.
- Assist in AV deployments, technology migrations, and hardware refreshes across the enterprise.
- Perform scheduled software, firmware, and system updates for audio-visual equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventories, room profiles, technology standards, and lifecycle documentation for AV assets.
- Track equipment age, warranty status, refresh history, and supportability to inform technology planning.
- Generate reports to support lifecycle planning, technology refresh initiatives, and standards compliance.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and technology partners to resolve technical issues and support new AV implementations.
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and compliance measures.
- Analyze recurring AV issues and recommend process or technology improvements to enhance system reliability and user experience.
- Participate in testing, validation, change management, and implementation activities for new AV technologies and system enhancements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience supporting enterprise audio-visual environments.
- Strong background in troubleshooting and supporting AV systems, conferencing technologies, and integrated meeting room solutions.
- Proficiency in managing AV asset inventories, lifecycle planning, and technology documentation.
- Working knowledge of AV hardware and software in both Windows and Mac environments.
- Understanding of basic networking principles (LAN, WLAN, WAN) as they relate to AV systems.
- Experience working with third-party AV vendors and integrated technology solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
