Associate Medical Director - Summary
The Associate Medical Director is responsible for both direct patient care and the clinical leadership of a multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine who are passionate about advancing the quality of care for seniors. The position offers a comprehensive support system, including training in medical economics, center operations, and opportunities for career advancement through established leadership pathways. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and support a team of PCPs and NPs, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Deliver direct outpatient primary care to a panel of senior patients, many of whom live with multiple chronic conditions.
- Implement and oversee value-based care initiatives to improve health outcomes and patient experiences.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists to provide holistic health services tailored to the senior population.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
- Engage in ongoing training, including medical director and center operations, leadership development, and medical economics.
- Support the growth of the clinic by partnering with operational leaders on sales and outreach strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to inspire and manage teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
