Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations and staff supervision
- Support leasing activities: greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, prepare leases, and manage move-ins and move-outs
- Oversee front desk operations, respond to resident inquiries, and resolve escalated service or policy issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and unit turns to ensure timely completion and quality control
- Train, schedule, and supervise onsite team members; assist with performance feedback and support
- Monitor occupancy, assist with rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and perform basic accounting tasks such as rent deposits and daily reports
- Maintain accurate records in property management software and prepare regular operational and leasing reports
- Enforce property rules, safety protocols, and appearance standards; conduct property inspections and coordinate corrective actions
- Assist with marketing, resident retention programs, community events, and online listings to drive occupancy and engagement
- Perform opening and closing duties and act as the onsite manager in the absence of the Property Manager

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in multifamily property management, leasing, hospitality, or retail management preferred
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial reports and rent collections
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and lead a small team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certifications preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
