Assistant Project Manager – Construction Summary
- Support project management teams with document control, scheduling, and cost management in full-time construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and organizing project documentation, ensuring all files are up-to-date and accessible.
- Support the preparation of cost proposals and change orders to accurately reflect project needs.
- Contribute to developing and managing project budgets and assist in the buy-out and contracting phases.
- Coordinate project accounting functions, including owner billing and reviewing subcontractor progress payments.
- Monitor and control project budgets, providing ongoing cost oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and all required project documentation to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Help develop and manage the Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedule.
- Support project subcontractor coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, and billing management.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in managing commercial and/or public works construction projects of increasing complexity.
- Preferably a graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management, construction science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of current construction methods, materials, and applicable regulations.
- Strong ability to work under pressure, managing multiple activities and coordinating diverse groups for project efficiency.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications; familiarity with Primavera scheduling software and Oracle Contract Manager is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required.
