The role of Assembly Technician is essential for ensuring that various retail products are assembled efficiently and correctly inside major retail locations. As an Assembly Technician, you will work with a variety of high-demand products, including BBQ grills, lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, patio furniture sets, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bicycles. Assembly Technicians are required to meet specific physical and technical requirements to succeed in this role. You must be able to regularly lift and maneuver items weighing over 50 pounds and possess your own set of tools, such as an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and a rubber mallet. A reliable vehicle and a smartphone with a working camera are essential for commuting to job sites and completing required documentation using the company’s mobile app.
