Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Transport and assemble products such as grills, mowers, furniture, bikes, and outdoor storage units within retail stores.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and safety protocols to ensure products are constructed correctly and safely.
- Manage assigned work orders via mobile applications, including photo documentation, scanning, and invoicing.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at job sites, which impacts compensation.
- Use personal tools (cordless impact driver or drill, sockets, pliers, screwdrivers, wrench, utility knife, rubber mallet) to efficiently build assigned products.
- Lift and maneuver products weighing 50+ lbs as required to complete assemblies.
- Demonstrate reliability by consistently showing up for scheduled assignments and adhering to quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and report on job progress through required technology.
- Continuously seek ways to improve speed and quality of assembly to maximize earning potential.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years required.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and handle items weighing at least 50 lbs.
- Ownership of reliable personal transportation for commuting to various store locations.
- Smartphone with a functional camera for work documentation and mobile app usage.
- Possession of essential tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude; formal experience is not required but a hands-on skillset is essential.
