Assembly Technician - Summary- Assembles a variety of large-item retail products directly in store environments.
- Works independently to deliver efficient, accurate, and quality assembly services.
- Utilizes personal tools and technology to complete assignments and document work.
- Operates on a flexible, self-managed schedule, with weekly pay and performance incentives.
- Transport and assemble products such as grills, mowers, furniture, bikes, and outdoor storage units within retail stores.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and safety protocols to ensure products are constructed correctly and safely.
- Manage assigned work orders via mobile applications, including photo documentation, scanning, and invoicing.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at job sites, which impacts compensation.
- Use personal tools (cordless impact driver or drill, sockets, pliers, screwdrivers, wrench, utility knife, rubber mallet) to efficiently build assigned products.
- Lift and maneuver products weighing 50+ lbs as required to complete assemblies.
- Demonstrate reliability by consistently showing up for scheduled assignments and adhering to quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and report on job progress through required technology.
