Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble merchandise such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bikes, and outdoor equipment in retail store settings
- Follow assembly instructions and manufacturer guidelines for each product
- Ensure all products are built accurately, safely, and efficiently
- Use personal tools and equipment, including cordless impact drivers, sockets, and screwdrivers
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone for photos, scans, and invoicing through the company app
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance at job sites
- Communicate effectively with store staff and supervisors as needed
- Adhere to all company and store policies regarding safety and quality

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between assignments
- Smartphone with camera capability for documentation and invoicing
- Ownership of required tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet
- No formal experience required, but mechanical aptitude is essential
