Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble merchandise such as grills, lawn equipment, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, storage sheds, and bicycles inside retail store environments.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and manufacturer specifications to ensure product safety and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with store personnel and team leads to coordinate assembly tasks and timelines.
- Utilize personal tools and equipment for assembly tasks, including cordless impact drivers, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit sets, pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, utility knives, and rubber mallets.
- Document completed work using a smartphone application for photos, scanning, and invoicing.
- Maintain efficiency and quality standards, delivering completed assemblies on time and without defects.
- Adhere to company policies regarding punctuality, attendance, and quality assurance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old required.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and handling large-item assembly.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from job sites.
- Ownership of a smartphone with functioning camera for project documentation and app usage.
- Possession of essential assembly tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow assembly instructions accurately.
