Assembly Technician - Summary
- Responsible for the in-store assembly of retail products, including but not limited to toolboxes, grills, lawn mowers, furniture, and cabinets.
- Acts as a representative of the company’s values, emphasizing quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Supports the onboarding and training of new technicians and upholds a positive team culture.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform precise assembly of various retail products according to manufacturer specifications within retail store environments.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, ensuring each assembled item meets safety and quality guidelines.
- Conduct quality walks throughout the store to inspect and address assembly quality and identify items in need of repair.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing questions or concerns from store staff and customers when necessary.
- Mentor and support the orientation of new technicians to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Communicate effectively with store leadership and coordinate with other technicians to manage workload and schedule.
- Utilize a smart device with a camera for scanning, invoicing, and tracking completed assignments.
- Travel between multiple retail locations as required, ensuring timely and efficient completion of assembly tasks.
- Perform repairs and troubleshoot assembly issues as needed to maintain high standards of service.
Salary & Benefits
- W2 employment with eligibility for insurance benefits after six months of continuous full-time service.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in assembly and leadership roles (resume required).
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong communication abilities.
- Reliable personal transportation for travel between assigned retail locations.
- Ability to check in before 9am daily and maintain a flexible schedule as business needs require.
- Ownership of a smart device with camera functionality for work-related scanning and invoicing tasks.
- Required tools: cordless impact drill, impact driver, standard assembly tools; a small air compressor and bike stand are preferred.

Other Relevant Information
