The Assembly Technician role is designed for individuals who are self-motivated, mechanically adept, and able to manage their own timelines. Assembly Technician - Summary
- Assemble retail merchandise such as grills, furniture, outdoor equipment, and bicycles inside major stores.
- Work independently and manage your own schedule using our flexible self-scheduling system.
- Earn based on the number of products assembled, with weekly pay and uncapped earning potential.
- Utilize your mechanical skills and tools to ensure quality builds and customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble a variety of large retail products in-store.
- Ensure all builds are completed accurately, safely, and within company guidelines.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone app, including photos and scanning for invoicing purposes.
- Maintain punctuality for check-ins to maximize commission rates.
- Provide reliable and consistent service, never missing scheduled assignments.
- Use personal hand and power tools, including cordless impact drivers, drills, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit sets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, box cutters, and rubber mallets.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and follow all site-specific protocols.
- Strive for high speed and quality workmanship to access more assignments and higher-volume locations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and manage assembly of large products.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between retail stores as needed.
- Smartphone with functioning camera for documenting assemblies and using company apps.
- Personal tool set, including but not limited to an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and readiness to work in a dynamic retail environment.
